TAMPA, FLA. (AP) - Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Shaun King has been charged with driving under the influence in Florida.
Hillsborough County jail records show that King refused to take a blood alcohol test when sheriff’s deputies stopped him at 2:12 a.m. Sunday.
He posted $500 bond and was released.
King played seven NFL seasons with the Buccaneers and Arizona Cardinals. He recently was hired as a football analyst for Bright House Sports Network.
The 33-year-old lives in St. Petersburg. A message left at a phone number listed for his address was not immediately returned.
A spokeswoman for Bright House Networks did not immediately respond to an e-mail Sunday.
