Egypt is a wake-up call

OPINION:

Shortly after President Obama was inaugurated, he gave an interview to Arab television in which he was excessively apologetic.

Then he made a trip to Cairo in which he outdid himself in obeisance to the Muslim world. Perhaps the unrest in Egypt is finally waking up Mr. Obama to the danger presented by Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak’s 30 years of dictatorial authoritarianism. The facts have been well-known for decades.
