OPINION:
Will America ever come to know what is truly in the heart and mind of President Obama when it comes to economic policy?
Mr. Obama has recently talked about President Reagan and the possible benefits of Reaganomics during his State of the Union address. Yet in Mr. Obama’s book, “Dreams from My Father,” he wrote of the Reagan era that there was a need for “change in the White House, where Reagan and his minions were carrying on their dirty deeds.”
I understand that Mr. Obama was a struggling 22-year-old at the time, but it provides some insight to the inner thoughts of a president who has been somewhat of a mystery and moreover, represents a contradiction of epic proportions when discussing our economic future. I hope he figures it out before it is too late for his presidency and, more importantly, for the future of our country.
