In Week 13, the Washington Redskins jumped out to a 7-0 lead against the New York Jets less than five minutes into the game via a Roy Helu touchdown run, but that would be it for the offense, managing only field goals the rest of the way. The Redskins entered halftime with a 13-10 lead, and would be up 16-13 with less than five minutes remaining in fourth quarter. However, the Jets rallied for three touchdowns to make a 34-19 game seem more one-sided than it really was and hand Washington its eighth loss of the season.
