CHICAGO (AP) - Blackhawks defenseman Brent Seabrook is out of the game against the Calgary Flames because of an undisclosed upper body injury.
Seabrook was slammed headfirst into the glass from behind by Flames forward Rene Bourque, who received a major penalty for boarding and was ejected. After remaining face down on the ice for a minute, Seabrook was helped up. He skated to the Chicago bench on his own, but the Blackhawks announced early in the second period that Seabrook wouldn’t return to the game.
