1. Will Washington’s turnover streak continue? They’ve turned it over in 27 straight games, the longest active streak in the NFL. Rex Grossman has thrown an interception in nine straight games. As a result, the Redskins have a minus-14 turnover ratio, the worst in the NFL.
2. Can Roy Helu make it four straight 100-yard games? The fourth-round rookie has jumpstarted the Redskins’ offense with his speed and physical running style. Dallas’ Felix Jones had 106 yards on 16 carries last week, but the Giants in Week 1 held Tim Hightower to 72 yards on 25 rushes.
3. How well will the Redskins’ backup tackles pass-protect? Rookie Willie Smith and Tyler Polumbus are positioned to start. Justin Tuck (toe) and Osi Umenyiora (ankle/knee) missed practice Thursday, but Jason Pierre-Paul had two sacks against Washington in Week 1.
4. Can the Redskins slow Eli Manning? The kid brother is having his best NFL season, statistically. Receivers Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks each have surpassed 1,000 yards this season. Manning’s 70.8 passer rating against the Redskins in Week 1 is his worst of the year.
5. Will the Giants’ running game keep rolling? New York has rushed for at least 100 yards in both games since running back Ahmad Bradshaw returned from a broken foot. Washington has held its last five opponents to 4.1 yards per carry or fewer.
