President Obama continues to claim he is looking out for the middle class. Is he really doing that? You decide.

The following events that affect the middle class have occurred since Mr. Obama has been in office: 2 million unemployed have been added to the national count; $1.60 has been added to the average cost of a gallon of gasoline; the number of food-stamp recipients has increased by 13 million; home values have decreased 11 percent; and American poverty has increased by 6.4 million people.

Does that data suggest that the American middle class is better off and being protected under the president? Again, you decide.
