NEW YORK (AP) - The Big Apple can’t seem to get enough of Mike Daisey’s Apple-bashing.

The Public Theater said Thursday that the monologist’s new show about Cupertino, Calif.-based tech company Apple Inc. and its history now will have a second, five-week run in January.

“The Agony and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs” officially opened Oct. 17. It was originally scheduled to close Nov. 13 but was extended until Sunday.

The return engagement will run from Jan. 31 to March 4.

In the show, Daisey splices career milestones of Steve Jobs and Apple’s transformation from a David into a Goliath with stories about his connection to the computer maker.

He also reports that most smartphones and tablets are made in Chinese sweatshops.

Apple says its suppliers must provide safe working conditions.
