Love hurts, especially when you’re 27 years older than the girl of your dreams.

“Liar Liar” funnyman Jim Carrey seems to be in that boat: He uploaded a video love letter to “The Help” star Emma Stone on his personal website Wednesday. Though the comedian very well could have been joking, many have described the recording as uncomfortable and creepy.

“I just wanted to let you know that I think you’re all-the-way beautiful,” the 49-year-old Canadian tells the 22-year-old “Easy A” actress. “Not just pretty, but smart and kind-hearted. And if I were a lot younger, I would marry you.”

Without a hint of sarcasm, Mr. Carrey says he and Miss Stone would have children, enjoy games and have childlike fun and adventures.

“We would have chubby little freckle-faced kids, we’d laugh all day long, go camping and play Yahtzee,” Mr. Carrey says. “Tell ghost stories by the fire.”

The video gets especially odd when Carrey says “and the sex [we’d have]?” shakes his head and rolls back his eyes.

Mr. Carrey snaps back to reality when he acknowledges that he’s much older than Miss Stone, who reportedly is dating her “Amazing Spider-Man” co-star Andrew Garfield.

“Every day for the rest of your life, you would thank God that I was the appropriate age for you. But I’m not. I’m 49,” Mr. Carrey says. “I have lines on my face, sometimes a little gray in my beard, and it takes me a little longer to pee than it used to. Those are the only discernible signs of aging that I can find so far.”

The actor finishes out the video by explaining that he just needed to put his true feelings for Miss Stone out in the open.

“I just wanted to let you know how I felt,” Mr. Carrey says. “You’re pretty special, and I wish you continued success and artistic fulfillment, but most of all, I wish you love and contentment. That’s all.”

Alice Cooper: Ke$ha’s no diva; she’s a rocker

Say what you want about glitterific “TiK ToK” singer Ke$ha, but she’s no pop diva, says rocker Alice Cooper.

Mr. Cooper’s new album, “Welcome 2 My Nightmare,” features several original Alice Cooper bandmates, along with Ke$ha, Buckcherry’s Keith Nelson and Vince Gill.

Speaking to Billboard magazine, Mr. Cooper said of Ke$ha, “I met [her] at the Grammys … and I immediately looked at her and went, ’This girl is not a pop diva. She’s a rock singer.’ She would much rather be the female Robert Plant than the next Britney Spears. [My producer] said, ’Nobody’s gonna expect Ke$ha on your album.’ Great! Let’s do it!”

Mr. Cooper and Ke$ha teamed up for the tune “What Baby Wants” for the legend’s upcoming album, which drops Sept. 13.
