HOUSTON (AP) - The Houston Astros signed their first-round draft pick, outfielder George Springer, to a minor league deal with a $2.5 million dollar bonus.

The Astros also signed third-rounder Jack Armstrong, a pitcher from Vanderbilt. Second-round pitcher Adrian Houser had already signed and reported to the minor leagues.

Houston signed its top 13 selections and 18 of its top 20.
