Kim Kardashian makes a fool of herself in dance class

Don’t expect to see reality star Kim Kardashian on “Dancing With the Stars” again anytime soon.

In the latest episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” the bootylicious 30-year-old makes a fool of herself, freezing during what appears to be a hip-hop dance lesson.

“Every single person in this class can dance 10 times better than I ever could,” Miss Kardashian says. “I can’t even understand what the dance teacher is saying.”

As Miss Kardashian’s classmates bust a move, the Los Angeles native stands still, nibbles on her nails, and keeps to herself in the back of the room.

When put on the spot and told to do a solo performance, Miss Kardashian chokes up, says she doesn’t remember the routine steps, squeals, and watches someone else do the dance.

“This is probably one of the most humiliating experiences of my life,” the television personality says. “It was actually more fun to be kicked offstage by Prince than it is to sit and be humiliated in this dance class.”

Miss Kardashian is, of course, referring to her notorious February appearance at Prince’s Madison Square Garden concert, when the legendary singer invited Miss Kardashian to dance onstage and promptly sent her away. Prince eventually asked her back onstage for a shot at redemption.

“Went up on stage AGAIN!” Miss Kardashian tweeted that night. “This time I redeemed myself! We all danced while Prince played the piano! Wow! What a night!”

Miss Kardashian, who released the single “Jam (Turn It Up)” earlier this year, competed on “Dancing With the Stars” in 2008 and was eliminated on the fifth anniversary of her dad’s death.

Jessica Alba gives birth to second child

“Little Fockers” actress Jessica Alba welcomed her second child into the world Saturday, when she gave birth to another little girl.

“Cash and I are so excited to announce the birth of our daughter, Haven Garner Warren,” the 30-year-old wrote on Facebook on Sunday. “She was born on Saturday, weighed 7 lbs, and was 19 inches long. Healthy and happy!”

The “Spy Kids 4” star, who tied the knot with Cash Warren in 2008, also has a 3-year-old daughter named Honor.

Well into pregnancy No. 2, Alba got political and pushed the nation’s leading politicians to pass the Safe Chemicals Act. At the beginning of summer, the proud mother traveled to Washington for Sen. Frank R. Lautenberg’s news conference in support of the measure. During a speech on Capitol Hill, Miss Alba said she’d begun to worry about safe chemicals when she first had a child.

“Four years ago, I became pregnant for the first time, and as I’m sure any mother would agree, it immediately changes the way you look at things,” Miss Alba said on what inspired her to become active on this issue. “[You] avoid anything that can be harmful to your child, particularly pesticides, alcohol, tobacco, the stuff that we’re all aware of. … I was shocked to learn that it is perfectly legal to have known toxic chemicals in consumer products on our shelves.”

Last week, Miss Alba called on presidential candidates to endorse the reform.

“Moms around the country from all walks of life have been leading the charge for common sense limits on toxic chemicals,” Miss Alba said in a press release. “I’m proud to join them today in asking Congress to pass the Safe Chemicals Act. I also think it’s time for the candidates for President to say where they stand on this critical issue.”

Former child star Duff expecting baby

A decade after the debut of her claim to fame, “Lizzie McGuire,” 23-year-old actress Hilary Duff is expecting a child.

The Texan, who tied the knot with professional ice hockey player Mike Comrie last year, wrote on her official website Sunday that she was happy to celebrate her first wedding anniversary and inform the world that a baby is on the way.

“I can’t believe it has already been a year,” Miss Duff wrote. “We also want to share the exciting news that baby makes three! We are extremely happy and ready to start this new chapter of our lives. Thanks to everyone for the continued love and support throughout the years!”

Mr. Comrie and Miss Duff got hitched Aug. 14, 2010, at a $29 million estate near the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, Calif.

Miss Duff, who made a big name for herself 10 years ago after playing the lead role in the wildly popular Disney series “Lizzie McGuire,” gave Us Weekly the inside scoop on her pregnancy last week.

“We both love kids and we’re really excited,” she told the celebrity news magazine. “It was a big deal for us because we had a year to be married.”

Earlier this year, the former child star was the subject of what appeared to be false pregnancy rumors. When Star magazine reported that a “close friend” of Miss Duff’s said the actress was going to be a mother, Miss Duff told Access Hollywood, “Nope, not pregs! Be nice to know who my ’friend’ is though that is telling people that. Maybe I should start wearing some tighter clothes.”
