Former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty on Sunday will abandon his bid for the Republican presidential nomination after a disappointing finish in Saturday’s Iowa straw poll.
Mr. Pawlenty finished well behind Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann and Texas Rep. Ron Paul.
He told supporters during a Sunday-morning conference call that he plans to announce the end of his campaign on ABC’s “This Week.”
