NAPA, CALIF. (AP) - Oakland Raiders receiver Chaz Schilens got hurt in the preseason again, injuring his knee in the exhibition opener.
Schilens will be evaluated week to week, coach Hue Jackson said Saturday. Schilens missed significant time the past two seasons after breaking his foot in practice in 2009 and having knee surgery last August.
The Raiders have been banged up at receiver already this summer, with Jacoby Ford sidelined by a broken hand and Louis Murphy out nearly two weeks with an injured hamstring. Darrius Heyward-Bey also missed the start of camp with an injury.
Raiders backup safety Hiram Eugene also had surgery on a dislocated hip sustained Thursday night against Arizona.
