D.C. police are investigating several violent incidents Wednesday night in which at least seven people were either killed or wounded, according to news reports. The shootings and stabbing occurred from roughly 9:15 p.m. to midnight, according to The Washington Post.

The first incident occurred just before 9:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of Brentwood Road Northeast. Police said two men suffered minor injuries after being shot, according to Fox 5 News

About 15 minutes later, a man was shot and killed in the 700 block of Quincy Street Northwest.

A short time later, at about 10 p.m., a shooting occurred in the 900 block of Wahler Place Southeast. One man was killed and another remains in critical condition.

Another shooting happened just before midnight on Yuma Street Southeast. Police said two men were shot and killed.
