MIAMI (AP) - Heat guard Dwyane Wade is expected to miss Wednesday night’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks because of bruised right thigh.
Wade did not participate in Miami’s shootaround practice Wednesday morning, prompting Heat coach Erik Spoelstra to say the NBA’s No. 3 scorer this season is “doubtful” to face the Bucks.
Wade was injured in the first half of Miami’s win Sunday against the New Jersey Nets. He played in the second half of that game, but needed treatment because of deep soreness Monday and Tuesday.
He’s averaging 25.7 points this season.
