OMAHA, NEB. (AP) - The grand opening of the new home for the College World Series has been declared a sellout.

Tickets for the April 19 game between Creighton and Nebraska at 24,000-seat TD Ameritrade Park sold out in just a few hours Monday.

Nearly one-third of the seats are being held back for construction workers and city leaders who were responsible for the downtown stadium being built.

The game will be televised nationally by CBS Sports Network.

Creighton is playing its final 12 home games at the new ballpark, which replaces Rosenblatt Stadium. The College World Series has been played in Omaha since 1950.

The CWS begins June 18.
