NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - New Jersey Devils left wing Zach Parise is back in the lineup for the first time since having knee surgery on Nov. 2.
Parise returned on Saturday against Montreal after missing 65 games following surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee. He was hurt while skating in August and played 12 games before being sidelined. He hadn’t played since Oct. 30.
Parise had been the catalyst of the Devils offense the past four seasons, scoring 146 goals, including 45 and 38 the past two seasons, respectively.
