LONDON (AP) - TV viewers in anticipation of the April 29 royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton will soon have a chance to view a made-for-TV movie that documents their blossoming romance.

“William and Kate: The Movie” will be shown in both Britain and the United States in the run-up to the wedding, and then move to DVD.

So far, critical reception has been harsh, but producers still expect the dramatization to find a wide audience.

Britain’s Guardian newspaper predicted Friday that the portrayal of how Middleton and William fell in love as university students in Scotland is so bad it will probably be a smash

It suffers from poor acting, bad locations, and bogus accents, the paper said.
