ALLEN PARK, MICH. (AP) - The Detroit Lions have sold enough tickets, allowing this weekend’s home football game against the St. Louis Rams to be televised locally.

The team announced Friday that Sunday’s sellout was completed after Gardner-White Furniture bought 800 tickets. The game will air live in the Detroit, Lansing, Saginaw-Flint and Toledo, Ohio, markets.

Lions President Tom Lewand said fans purchased a “significant portion” of the remaining tickets, which allowed the team to partner with the furniture retailer to complete the sellout.
