LAKE FOREST, ILL. (AP) - The Chicago Bears have officially listed quarterback Jay Cutler as out for Sunday’s game at Carolina.
The move Friday was hardly surprising. The Bears said the previous day that Cutler would sit out this week’s game.
He was sacked nine times during the first half Sunday night in a loss to the New York Giants. Veteran Todd Collins replaced him to start the second half and will make his first start in three years Sunday.
Left tackle Chris Williams and safety Major Wright also remain sidelined by hamstring injuries.
