NEWPORT, WALES (AP) - The Ryder Cup has resumed after another long rain delay.

The final six team matches were back on the water-logged course Sunday at Celtic Manor, with Europe leading in all six. They were suspended the previous evening because of darkness.

This is the second suspension at the Ryder Cup and ensures the first Monday finish in its 8-year history. There was a delay of 7 hours, 18 minutes the first day because of heavy rain. Another round of torrential showers overnight pushed back the start of play Sunday another 5 hours, 45 minutes.

The 12 singles matches will be held Monday.
