WASHINGTON | Gilbert Arenas was on the sidelines again Sunday as the Washington Wizards wrapped up training camp with a scrimmage.
Arenas missed three of the final four sessions of camp. He sat out Friday morning’s practice with a sore leg, was able to take part in the team’s scrimmage later that night, then was out Saturday and Sunday with a sprained right ankle.
Arenas is attempting a comeback after knee injuries and a 50-game suspension for a felony gun conviction limited him to 47 games over the past three seasons.
The Wizards open their preseason Tuesday at Dallas.
