OPINION:
Will Iran be the first nation in the 21st century to use the force of nuclear destruction?
Iran has suggested that it is preparing to destroy Israel as its nuclear capabilities progress toward completion. At the same time, the Palestinians are anxious to declare a state unilaterally, taking the West Bank of the Jordan River and, with it, a portion of Israel’s heartland. Iran is an ardent advocate of such a declaration.
Would Iran attempt to bomb Israel with its nuclear arsenal, given that such a bombardment surely also would annihilate all the Muslim residents of the Jordan Valley as well as all its Jewish citizens? Is Iran’s hatred of Israel so great that it is willing to decimate such a large Muslim population as it destroys Israel? I believe the answer is yes.
