OPINION:
Last week at a campaign stop deep in the heart of blue state Maryland and then again at a campaign stop in equally blue Chicago, President Obama retreaded his tired economic car analogy by telling Republicans they couldn’t have the keys back. “We’ll give you a ride,” he said, “but you’ll have to sit in the back.”
Can you imagine the mass media outcry had this been a Republican political figure telling Mr. Obama to “sit in the back?” Hypocrisy is still alive and well in politics and news coverage alike.
