Do you remember Santa Claus? How he magically visited the house of every good kid in the world in a single night and put gifts for them under their Christmas trees? I remember Santa Claus. I also remember finding out he wasn’t real. I grew up a little bit when I found out Santa Claus isn’t real.

It sometimes seems as if liberals are emotionally still 8 years old. They may not believe in Santa Claus per se, but they believe in a worldly, omniscient benefactor (i.e. big government) that can magically fix all their problems. They have not grown up.

I quote a supporter speaking about President Obama: “I’ve never thought this day would ever happen. I won’t have to worry about putting gas in my car. I won’t have to worry about paying my mortgage. You know, if I help him, he’s gonna help me.”

I wonder - does that Obama enthusiast still believe?
