CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Jonathan Stewart is likely to get his second straight start at running back for the Carolina Panthers with DeAngelo Williams still sidelined with a sprained left foot.

Williams missed practice again Friday and is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game against New Orleans. Williams hasn’t played or practiced since getting hurt in the final minute of Carolina’s win over San Francisco on Oct. 24.

Stewart managed just 30 yards on 14 carries in last Sunday’s loss to St. Louis in which the Panthers (1-6) had 25 net yards rushing.

Carolina will again be without right tackle Jeff Otah against the Saints because of a lingering knee injury. Linebacker Dan Connor is probable with a sore hip after practicing Friday.
