MIAMI (AP) - LeBron James wants a second Olympic gold medal.

James said Thursday that he would “love to be a part” of the 2012 U.S. men’s basketball team at the London Olympics. If selected, it would be his third time participating in an Olympics.

He was part of the team that won bronze at Athens in 2004, then teamed with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh to help capture gold at Beijing in 2008.

Kobe Bryant said earlier this week that he’d also like to play on the 2012 squad. Wade says he isn’t close to making a decision yet.
