MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Minnesota Vikings receiver Sidney Rice remains on the physically-unable-to-perform list and won’t play Sunday against the Chicago Bears.
Rice has been out all season after having hip surgery in August. He practiced all week and the Vikings were hopeful that the Pro Bowl receiver would be ready to go for a key division game at Chicago. For Rice to be eligible for the game, the Vikings had to activate him by Saturday afternoon.
Coach Brad Childress said Friday that it was up to Rice to determine if he was ready to return.
Receiver Percy Harvin is questionable after having another migraine headache this week and receiver Bernard Berrian also is questionable because of a groin injury.
