ATLANTA (AP) - The Atlanta Falcons honored Deion Sanders at halftime of their game against the Baltimore Ravens, unveiling a No. 21 banner to hang from the roof of the Georgia Dome alongside those for seven others.

The Neon One, wearing a stylish suit and moving much slower than he did in his Prime Time days, emerged from the tunnel and skipped through a caldron of cheerleaders to reach a stage at the 50-yard line Thursday night. He was saluted with a standing ovation in the stadium he once declared “is my house!”

Sanders was a first-round pick of the Falcons in 1989 and spent five years with the team, also finding time to play baseball for the Atlanta Braves. He went on on to play with San Francisco, Dallas, Washington and Baltimore, finishing NFL his career as an eight-time Pro Bowler who had 53 career interceptions and scored 22 touchdowns.
