NASHVILLE, TENN. (AP) - Titans quarterback Vince Young has been told the NFL will not suspend him over his tussle at a Dallas strip club in Dallas, The Associated Press has learned.
A person with knowledge of the situation says that Young has been informed that he won’t be suspended. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the NFL has not announced the decision by commissioner Roger Goodell.
NFL spokesman Greg Aiello declined to comment to the AP.
The Tennessean first reported Young would not be suspended.
Young was given a misdemeanor assault citation after the fight last month was caught on surveillance video. He quickly apologized and said he hoped Goodell wouldn’t suspend him because he owned up to his mistake.
