Why is it that the majority of the people pushing to end “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” - i.e., President Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Lady Gaga, etc. - are those who have never served in the military?

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Adm. Mike Mullen is an Obama follower apparently most interested in some future after-retirement post. He ought to retire to his home in California where his way of thinking is more the norm. Recent news accounts said he “was surprised” by Gen. James F. Amos’ remarks about “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” but then someone who is not accustomed to standing up for what’s right will be surprised by someone who does.
