OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Starting forward Marvin Williams missed the Atlanta Hawks’ game Friday night at Oklahoma City with a lower back injury.
Williams had started 28 of Atlanta’s first 34 games and is averaging 11 points and 4.8 rebounds. He bruised his back midway through the third quarter of the Hawks’ win against Golden State on Wednesday when he tried to steal a pass in the lane and fell to the floor.
Jason Collins took his place in the starting lineup.
