AUBURN HILLS, MICH. (AP) - Charlie Villanueva insists he isn’t fixated on his early season dustup with Kevin Garnett as Detroit prepares to host Boston again.

Villanueva said shortly before Wednesday night’s game he’d take the same approach he always does. The Detroit forward says it’s just “another game” for him.

After a Nov. 2 loss to the Celtics, Villanueva complained on Twitter that Garnett had called him a “cancer patient” during Boston’s 109-86 win. Garnett denied that, saying he had actually called Villanueva: “cancerous to your team and our league.”

This is the first meeting between the teams since then. Both coaches said they weren’t worried about the game becoming too much of a one-on-one battle between the two.
