CLEVELAND (AP) - Fire trucks welcomed LeBron James home. Police and security officials escorted him from there.

Making his first trip to Ohio as a visiting player, James and the Miami Heat had problems with their plane upon arriving in Cleveland.

The aircraft had a “flap issue” early Thursday as it approached Hopkins International Airport. An alert was issued and two emergency vehicles were sent out to the runway before the plane made a safe landing at 2:30 a.m.

James and the Heat did not have a morning shootaround. The Cavaliers did.
