DALLAS (AP) - Phoenix guard Steve Nash has left Friday night’s game against the Dallas Mavericks with what the Suns termed a “stinger.”
With 7:17 left in the first quarter, Nash and Mavericks center Tyson Chandler collided while going for a loose ball in the Phoenix backcourt. Nash’s neck appeared to drive into Chandler’s hip, and Nash was down for several minutes before limping to the bench.
Nash was replaced by Goran Dragic, and a few minutes later the Suns announced that Nash would miss the rest of the game.
