JACKSONVILLE, FLA. (AP) - The Jacksonville Jaguars will be without two defensive starters at Indianapolis on Sunday.
Coach Jack Del Rio ruled out linebacker Justin Durant and safety Courtney Greene on Friday, saying neither will make the trip.
Durant, the team’s third-leading tackler, injured his groin against Oakland and missed practice all week. Greene hurt his left shoulder at Tennessee, missed last week’s game and hasn’t fully recovered. Sean Considine will start in his place.
Quarterback David Garrard and running back Maurice Jones-Drew are questionable, but both are expected to play in Jacksonville’s biggest regular-season game in franchise history. The Jaguars (8-5) can clinch the AFC South with a victory.
Garrard pulled a hamstring in practice Thursday, and Jones-Drew tweaked his right knee last week.
