LAWRENCE, KAN. (AP) - Kansas reserve Mario Little has been arrested on charges of battery, criminal damage and criminal trespassing.
Douglas County jail records show the 22-year-old senior was arrested at early Thursday at a Lawrence apartment complex. He posted $700 bond and was released.
Coach Bill Self couldn’t immediately be reached for comment Thursday and messages left with other university staff weren’t immediately returned.
Little was 2007-08 Junior College Player of the Year and highly touted when he came to Kansas. But after playing in 23 games in 2008-09, he redshirted last season because of a wealth of talent on the Jayhawk squad.
The highlight of his Kansas career came earlier this month when he made a free throw with less than a second left to beat UCLA by one point.
