WASHINGTON (AP) - John Wall is back in the Washington Wizards’ starting lineup.
The No. 1 overall draft pick returned for Friday night’s game against the New York Knicks.
Wall sat out the Wizards’ loss at Sacramento on Wednesday with a sore left foot. He missed seven of Washington’s first 21 games with foot and knee injuries.
Wall entered the game averaging 17.4 points, second among NBA rookies. His 9.1 assists per game led all rookies.
Wizards forward Andray Blatche also returned after missing two games with a bruised left hip.
