BEREA, OHIO (AP) - Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Colt McCoy is practicing for the first time since injuring his left ankle on Nov. 21.

Coach Eric Mangini said McCoy will be limited in Friday’s workout. Depending on how McCoy’s injury responds, he could be the No. 3 quarterback when the Browns (5-7) play at Buffalo on Sunday. Jake Delhomme will make his third straight start against the Bills (2-10).

McCoy suffered a high ankle sprain against Jacksonville three weeks ago in his fifth start. The third-round pick wasn’t expected to play this season, but was rushed into the lineup after Delhomme and Seneca Wallace both sustained high ankle sprains. McCoy went 2-3 in five starts.
