NEW YORK (AP) - Actress Uma Thurman is staying mum about the convicted stalker who was recently arrested on charges of trying to contact her again.
Jack Jordan is being held in Maryland while awaiting possible extradition to New York. Authorities said he violated a restraining order by calling the “Kill Bill” star’s office.
Thurman’s spokesman says she won’t comment on Jordan’s arrest.
Jordan’s father said Wednesday that the family was in the process of hiring a lawyer. He declined to say more.
Jordan was convicted in 2008 of stalking the Oscar-nominated actress. The former psychiatric patient was sentenced to three years’ probation and told not to try to contact Thurman for five years.
Jordan was arrested Nov. 23 in North Potomac, Md. He’s due in court Dec. 21 for the extradition hearing.
