CLEVELAND (AP) - Drew Sutton was claimed by the Cleveland Indians on waivers from the Cincinnati Reds.

Cleveland also recalled outfielder Michael Brantley from Triple-A Columbus and optioned both Sutton and right-hander Jensen Lewis to their top farm team in the International League.

Brantley has hit .157 with one homer and seven RBI in 26 games over two previous stints with the Indians this year. At Columbus, he hit .319 with four homers and 29 RBI in 67 games.

Lewis is 3-2 with a 3.86 ERA in 25 relief appearances for Cleveland. He has gone back and forth between the Indians and Triple-A Clippers four times this year.

Sutton played two games this season for Cincinnati, going 2 for 3 with a home run and four RBIs on May 27-28. After hitting his first grand slam on May 28, he went back to Triple-A Louisville.

In 84 games with Louisville, he batted .262 with three homers and 27 RBI.

Sutton made his major league debut with the Reds a year ago and hit .212 with one homer and nine RBI in 42 games.
