DENVER (AP) - Denver Broncos linebacker Elvis Dumervil cut practice short, leaving the field holding his right arm.
Dumervil, Denver’s reigning sacks leader, didn’t return to practice Wednesday evening. It was unclear how the Pro Bowl linebacker may have been hurt.
Broncos coach Josh McDaniels said after practice that he had no update on Dumervil.
Dumervil, who had a team-record 17 sacks last season, signed a five-year, $58.332 million extension last month.
