CINCINNATI (AP) - Terrell Owens and Chad Ochocinco are getting along great as teammates. No grousing, no sulking, no one-upmanship.
The Cincinnati Bengals see no reason why this pairing of diva receivers shouldn’t stay that way.
The overriding question when the Bengals signed Owens to a one-year deal was how he would get along with Ochocinco, who loves the spotlight. So far, he’s been going out of his way to share it.
Quarterback Carson Palmer says that having Owens around seems to inspire Ochocinco, who has dubbed the two of them Batman and Robin. Three games into the preseason, Owens is the team’s leading receiver, an indication of how quickly he has learned the offense.
