KANSAS CITY, MO. (AP) - Kansas City Royals center fielder Gregor Blanco has left a game against the New York Yankees after four innings because of dehydration, heat exhaustion and dizziness.
The Royals say Blanco was given fluids intravenously and should be ready to play Friday.
Blanco, acquired in a July 31 trade with Atlanta, had missed the previous two games to go to Atlanta for the birth of his son. He is hitting .185 in eight games with the Royals.
