BEREA, OHIO (AP) - Cleveland Browns starting inside linebacker D’Qwell Jackson is getting a second opinion on his chest muscle injury _ the second one he has sustained in a less than a year.

Coach Eric Mangini said Thursday that there is no current plan for Jackson to have surgery. The Browns intend to have the injury to Jackson’s pectoral muscle “quiet down” for a few weeks. Jackson missed Cleveland’s final 10 games last season after tearing his left pectoral muscle against Pittsburgh and undergoing surgery.

Jackson injured his right pectoral muscle during Tuesday’s second practice. He was visibly upset after returning to watch the final 30 minutes of the workout.
