ASHBURN, VA. (AP) - Albert Haynesworth has taken another day off from the quest to pass the Washington Redskins conditioning test.
The two-time All-Pro defensive tackle was not on the field when practice began Sunday morning and won’t be allowed to practice until he passes the test.
He failed the test Thursday and Friday, then didn’t take it Saturday because of a small amount of swelling in his left knee.
Haynesworth is the only Redskins player required to take the test because he skipped the team’s offseason conditioning program. Everyone else had a grade of at least 50 percent participation.
