Left fielder Mike Daniel (.313) went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored in the Senators’ loss to the host Defenders. Shairon Martis (3-2, 2.87) pitched six innings and allowed just one earned run for Harrisburg, while reliever Tim Bittner (1-2, 3.81) got the loss.
Second baseman Matt Rogelstad (.298) drove in four runs on two doubles and a home run as the Nationals beat the visiting Hillcats. First baseman Chris Marrero (.238) and right fielder Edgardo Baez (.263) also hit home runs.
Colton Willems (4-3, 4.53) pitched six scoreless innings and struck out three as the visiting Suns beat the Intimidators. At the plate, third baseman Stephen King (.341) led Hagerstown with a 2-for-3 day that featured two RBI and two walks.
