KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — A spokeswoman for the Kansas Adjutant General’s Department says two people died when a severe storm system tore through the state with more than a dozen tornadoes.
Sharon Watson says the man and woman from Colorado were found today in a car in a field 13 miles east of Pratt in south central Kansas.
At least 17 tornadoes ripped through western and central Kansas yesterday. At least six people were injured and dozens of homes were damaged or destroyed
