The Nationals’ clubhouse at their new home park, as has been well documented, is huge. Players are spread throughout the large, oval-shaped room, and many of the established veterans have two lockers to themselves.

But Chad Cordero’s situation is a bit over the top. Chief has a locker at the end of a row, next to the entryway into the players’ kitchen. He has three empty lockers next to him with Jesus Colome way down in another zip code.

What happened? Ray King had been in the space between Cordero and Colome, but he’s gone now, leaving Cordero feeling a bit lonely.
