Wills, Kate on again
Prince William and former girlfriend Kate Middleton have resumed their relationship, Associated Press reports.
The young couple, who announced in April they had split, attended a party at an army barracks together earlier this month, newspapers reported.
William, 25, has also invited Miss Middleton to attend a memorial concert to his late mother, Princess Diana, to be held at London’s Wembley Stadium on Sunday, the London newspaper the Mail reported yesterday.
A spokeswoman for William’s Clarence House office declined to comment on the reports.
Britain’s News of the World tabloid claimed the couple had been on a string of low-key dates since their April split.
William, second in line to the British throne and a second lieutenant in the British army, celebrated his 25th birthday on Thursday and gained access to part of the inheritance left him by his mother.
Ageless passion
President Theodore Roosevelt’s eldest daughter was an amorous dynamo right up to her death in 1980 at age 96, reports the New York Post, citing a new biography about Alice Roosevelt Longworth.
In “Alice,” Stacy Cordery’s tome due out in October, she quotes the former first daughter as saying, “Old people have feelings … they even have sexual passion.” She says Mrs. Longworth, who had a secret affair during her marriage to her congressman husband Nicholas Longworth, loved the sexual revolution of the 1960s, boasting that she lived by the adage, “Fill what’s empty, empty what’s full, and scratch where it itches.”
Unbeweaveable fight
Trouble-prone rapper Foxy Brown was attacked yesterday by three of her ex-boyfriend’s gal pals —who pulled out her hearing aid and tore her hair weave at his prompting, police sources told the New York Daily News.
The assault occurred after the hip-hop artist dumped her beau at 5:30 a.m. in Brooklyn because she found out he was a pimp, the newspaper said. “This ex-boyfriend called some of his women, and they pounced on her,” another police source said. “They beat her bad. They ripped out her hair weave. Her hair was a mess — and that seems to be what she cared about most.”
The women also stole Miss Brown’s Louis Vuitton handbag, plus $500 in cash and credit cards, AP said.
The wild dustup took place after the 27-year-old rap diva had attended a party. After the assault, Miss Brown went to the local police station to file a complaint. Police drove her around the neighborhood in an unmarked car to look for the attackers. She pointed out Roshawn Anthony, 23, who was arrested and charged with assault.
Police sources said Miss Brown stopped cooperating with the officers when one of her representatives arrived on the scene. She later told the New York Post that the robbery never happened, and that she hadn’t been at the location police gave, AP said. Yet police said the rapper, whose real name is Inga Marchand, had indeed been attacked.
Miss Brown is known for her sexy outfits and steamy lyrics. Her albums include the platinum-selling “Ill Na Na” and “Chyna Doll.” She pleaded guilty in August 2006 to misdemeanor assault charges stemming from a fight with salon workers over payment for a manicure in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood in 2004. She was sentenced to three years’ probation last October. In February, Miss Brown went to Florida without permission and was arrested there for reportedly attacking a beautician.
